"What? Who's there!" I was sleeping in my dormitory room when I suddenly heard something that woke me up. "I said, 'Who's there'!" I repeated as I slowly got up and reached for the stungun under my pillow. While I was searching for whoever or whatever made the noise, my eyes finally adjusted to the darkness. When I noticed that my window was open, I was confused because I swore that I had closed that once I went to bed. Someone's in here, I thought as I carefully got up to close it.

        Now, you're probably wondering how I came to the conclusion, after all, most people would think that it was the wind. Well, I had this feeling, something like a 6th sense, that there was someone in the room with me. I just wasn't sure who, exactly. Or what.

        Once I had the window closed, I looked around carefully and repeated, "Who, is there!" Then I heard it. It sounded something like a chuckle. I looked around quickly with fairly sharp eyes and thought I saw a smile near the far corner of the room. "I know someone's in here! Show yourself!" Suddenly, there was a man, a fairly handsome man, really, and he was standing not 1 foot from me. I kept my face calm and asked, "Who are you." Instead of answering me, his smile became even wider.

        He began to chuckle, then he started to laugh, then it became a full-on guffaw. He doubled over and put his pointer finger up saying to give him a minute. Then he straightened, and turned to me with a smirk on his face.

"Well," he said, "aren't you an interesting boy." He chuckled and stroked my face with his hand. "Quite interesting indeed." He mused.

"Who are you, and get your hand off me." I asked again while smacking his hand away.

"Now, now, no need for violence." He smirked. "Before answering your question, let me ask mine first, and depending on your answer, I will tell you who I am." He replied in a condescending voice.

"How about instead of answering your question, you tell me who you are and get out of my room." I demanded.

        He tsked at me 3 times while waving his finger and said, "That's not how we do things. Either you let me ask my question and answer it, or I will just keep coming here every night until you do, not letting you get any sleep what. So. Ever." He grinned at me and waited.

"Dammit." I whispered under my breath and said, "Fine, what do you want to know."

He grinned and asked, "Is your name Ciel Phantomhive?"

"Yes," I replied.

"Are you turning 14 soon?"

"yes."

"Were your mother and father murdered on your 5th birthday?"

". . . yes," I said reluctantly.

"Do you wish vengeance on the murderer by killing him?"

I didn't answer.

"Well?"

I looked away, trying to hide the anguish and hatred that I'm sure is plastered on my face.

"If you don't answer me, I'll just keep comi-."

        "Yes!" I yelled, interrupting him. "Yes! I do want vengeance! I  am going to kill the bastard who murdered my parents! When I find him, I'm going to humiliate and torture him until he begs me, until he wishes that he wasn't even born!" My hands were in fists and my arms were taut as I stared at the intruder with determination and obsession to kill the man who took my parents away from me.

The intruder's smile grew in delight and replied, "Wonderful." He bowed at his waist with his head up, looking at me straight in the eye and finally answered my question, "My name is Sebastian Michaelis, my lord, and I am a demon. I Can make your wish come true, would you like to make a contract with me?"
